Enjoy custom cocktails and mocktails inspired by our National Parks while moving between a DJ in the Pavilion and an authentic Americana Bluegrass band on the Terrace.

Hear from National Geographic Explorers Babak Tafreshi, Wesley Sarmento, and Kaggie Orrick, and discover stories of wildlife conservation through breathtaking night-sky photography and firsthand accounts from the field. Throughout the museum, explore interactive art and hands-on experiences, including a live heat press station where you can customize a commemorative keepsake. Meet featured artists Bacon Bear, Goldbug, DC Stitches, and Wonders of Our World, complete an interactive scavenger hunt for special giveaways, and end the evening with complimentary access to the Courtyard Nighttime Experience.
This program is part of our ongoing A250 series in partnership with the America250 commission, exploring the people, places and stories that have shaped the United States in the 250 years since the founding of the nation.

Arrival + Ticket Check-In
- Event entrance: “Group Entrance” of the Museum at 1156 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20036.
Upon arrival, you'll receive your event wristband before heading into the museum. Start your night with an Explorer Talk of your choice, available on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited capacity. Explore the museum at your own pace between talks, live music, artist activations, and interactive experiences.

Guests must be 21+ years of age to attend this event. However, we offer plenty of other programming that is perfect for all ages.
