Drinks with an Explorer is a social storytelling experience where National Geographic Explorers share unforgettable moments from the field while guests enjoy themed cocktails, conversation and after-hours energy inside the Museum of Exploration.

Bob Ballard

This week, National Geographic Explorer at Large, legendary oceanographer and retired naval officer Dr. Bob Ballard will be joining us on the anniversary of his groundbreaking discovery of the RMS Titanic, which he originally found on Sept. 1, 1985. Bob will dive deeper into his renowned career of over 150 expeditions in which he has pioneered underwater exploration and made legendary discoveries like deep-sea hydrothermal vents, the Bismarck and President Kennedy’s PT 109.
