This week, step behind the scenes with one of the National Geographic Society's archivists Cathy Hunter to celebrate the iconic legacy of the National Geographic magazine on the anniversary of the very first issue being published. The magazine has shared the wonder of the world with you through the eyes of Explorers, photographers, storytellers and more for over a century. Together, you'll learn more about how this mighty magazine with a yellow border came to be.
