This week, step behind the scenes with the National Geographic Society's Chief Cartographer Martin Gamache to explore the craft of mapmaking. For more than a century, the Society’s mapmaking has shaped how we see and understand the world, blending editorial rigor and visual storytelling. Get ready to learn more about how his assignments for National Geographic magazine have taken him from urban wilds in Detroit to active volcanoes in Hawaii.
