Geography in Action

Designed with Students in Mind

“Travel” to the Peruvian Andes and the Okavango River Delta in Botswana with National Geographic Explorers Ruthmery Pillco Huarcaya and Charles Mpofu who will teach you that geography isn’t just something you read about in a textbook — it’s a way of thinking. Young learners will discover how Explorers decode the world through the lenses of patterns, layers, scale, place and time, teaching them that there is always more to discover out there.

A Day In The Desert

Designed for Young Explorers and Families in Mind

Step into this window into the wild and peel back the layers of the Great Victoria Desert. Depicting a full-day cycle, the experience invites you to join in a self-guided exploration, all with a crafty twist that introduces them to the desert’s amazing animals and unexpected plant life. Plus, the playscape design uses interactive object cards inspired by the classic diorama, making it super simple, active and accessible for young explorers.
